How long does it take a person to go through treatments in homeopathic medicine cycles, and how long does it take for a person to be healed or to start showing improvement in their condition?
To answer these questions it all depends on the age of the person (a young person heals/changes faster). Homeopathy stimulates the body to heal itself and the younger body reacts quicker. It also depends on the number of problems/symptoms being treated. Sometimes the whole body is involved and the various systems of the body have to be treated separately and then integrated together.
The main idea in the healing process when using homeopathy is to stimulate the body to heal itself, but if a person has five or ten different sicknesses, we have to produce five or ten different reactions, which we cannot do at the same time because the body only has so much energy to deal with during the healing and regenerating cycle. If we split the amount of this energy in ten different directions, then nothing will move. We have to go in one direction at a time. Very often before we can start in any one direction we have to prepare the body first and preparation can take sometimes up to two, three or four months. We have to prepare by detoxifying the liver and the kidneys, the large intestines and other filter systems in the body and make sure that they are functioning properly as well as fitting together in order to eliminate the toxins being released. Once the system is prepared we can move ahead and treat the various diseases and symptoms. The first thing we have to do is open the doors and windows of the body (as in cleaning a house) in order to ensure normal function of the organs and the hormonal systems, as well as the emotional and psychological states.
Sometimes the entire process of cleansing the organism takes nine or ten months’ treatment with homeopathic medicines, taking short breaks; sometimes six or seven months. With some people, depending on the number of chronic conditions being treated and the age of the patient, it could take even longer. Your family medical history plays a role in the length of the treatment – if the conditions are genetic, this adds additional challenge to the process, as these predisposed areas of weakness must be built up and strengthened. Research and various forms of testing can be done in order to determine each situation and to select individual forms of treatment. For a simple explanation, if you have inflammation in your shoulder and it was caused by an accident, it is an entirely different situation from having inflammation in your shoulder which was caused by the build-up of salt deposits, uric acid, and other things that will require a detoxification of the body for the purpose of eliminating these salts. When the liver, kidneys and lymphatic systems are working properly, then the body is ready to eliminate the cause of the problem and, therefore, the pain. All of these things have to be taken under consideration, including any prescription medication you may be taking, how long you have been taking it, whether there is a chance of having chemical accumulation in the body as the result of ingesting the prescription medicine, etc. Many prescribed medicines have a tendency to create side effects; some of them are not compatible with each other or with some vitamins and minerals. There may have been a reaction to taking too many medicines (or the wrong kinds) of vitamins and minerals.
Miraculous results do not happen or appear overnight. Sometimes the body has been in a stage of imbalance for many years due to food and drug abuses, such as too much junk food, sugar, alcohol, food chemicals or lack of exercise, emotional stress, etc. These conditions cannot be cured in one month. In addition people have to learn to break old habits that are bad. These habits often include eating junk food that is synthesized and not natural, taking drugs or prescription medication in order to dull pain, consuming large amounts of alcohol because of substance abuse, etc. People have to learn to deal with their stress and rebuild their bodies both physically and emotionally.
Of course, it is important at what age you come to realize a new philosophy and attempt to retrain your body and mind in order to make the necessary changes to save your life. It is easier for a younger person to make these changes. If you are a patient person, are serious an
